Family Support Services is a program to help families keep their developmentally disabled child or adult living at home.
Families who are interested in having their child return from an out-of-home placement are also eligible for our program. The goal of our services is to provide families with assistance to help alleviate some of the common stresses experienced by families who have a member with a disability. Colorado State rules do not allow individuals who are enrolled in Supported Living Services(SLS) to receive any of these services that are offered in the SLS program. The Family Support Services Program is advised by a council made up of family members receiving services and community stakeholders. Current members are DeeAnne Weber, Tamara Durbin, Louise Lopez and Silvia Castillo.
Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Council is encouraged to contact us by phone, mail or by clicking here and telling us that you are interested. |
